Jamaican Spice Bun Recipe

Ingredients
- All purpose flour380g
- Baking Powder2 tsp
- Ground Cinnamon2 tsp
- Salt1/2 tsp
- large Egg1
- Brown Sugar150g
- Beer250g
- Milk1/3 cup
- Honey1/4 cup
- Unsalted Butter4 tablespoons
- Molasses1 tablespoon
- Caramelized Sugar Sauce1 tsp
- Vanilla Extract1 tsp
- Dried cranberries1/2 cup
- Raisins1/2 cup
- Dried Cherries1/2 cup
Steps
Prepare
- π₯Soak the craisins, raisins, and cherries in the 1 cup of beer.
- π₯Set aside and allow to soak for 30 minutes.
- π§Preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.

- π₯Grease an 8x4 loaf pan.
- π§Set aside.

- π§Combine all-purpose flour, baking powder, ground cinnamon, salt, in a large bowl and set aside.
- π³In another bowl, combine brown sugar, egg, milk, honey, melted butter, molasses, browning, vanilla extract, and the beer thatβs soaking the fruit.

- π³Do not pour the fruit in at this time, just the beer.

- π½οΈRemove 2 tablespoon of flour from the flour mixture and toss the fruit in it.
