Venezuelan Shredded Beef

Ingredientes

  • Skirty Steak2 Lbs
  • cloves minced Garlic2
  • chopped Onion1
  • sliced Onion1
  • sliced Red Pepper1
  • sliced thinly Tomato3
  • Beef Stock4 cups
  • Worcestershire Sauce2 tsp
  • Tomato Puree1 tablespoon
  • Cumin1 tsp
  • Tomato Ketchup1/4 cup
  • SaltTo taste
  • PepperTo taste
  • Olive Oil1 tablespoon

Pasos

Preparar

  1. 🥄Season beef with salt, pepper and minced garlic
  2. 🔥Chop 1 onion in 4 big wedges

Cocinar

  1. 🔥Place in the beef pressure cooker with the 4 wedges of onion and the stock
  2. 🧂Pressure cook for 20 minutes

Pasos

  1. 🧂Release the pressure and open the lid
  2. 🍳Remove the beef and SAVE 2 cups of stock in another container
  3. 🫇With 2 forks, shred the beef.
  4. 🍽️Beef should be tender enough to so easily.

  1. 🍳If not, cook for another 10 minutes
  2. 🫇Press the saute button of the Instant pot.

  1. 🫇Add the olive oil
