  • Chicken Thighs4
  • Olive OilDrizzle
  • Raisins1/4 cup
  • Chicken Stock1 cup
  • large Sweet Potatoes1
  • sliced thinly Carrots3
  • Prunes1/4 cup

Steps

Prepare

  1. 🥄Combine onions, celery, cilantro, and parsley in a large pot.
  2. 🔥Stir in turmeric, cumin, paprika, ginger, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.

  1. 🔥Place chicken thighs on top.
  2. 🧂Drizzle olive oil over chicken.

Cook

  1. 🧂Cover and simmer over low heat until chicken is tender, about 40 minutes.

  1. 🍳Place raisins in a small bowl and cover with hot water; let soak for 10 minutes.
  2. 🫇Drain.

Prepare

  1. 🫇Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  2. 🍽️Transfer chicken mixture into an oven-safe tagine or casserole dish.

  2. 🌿Cover with lid or aluminum foil.
